As part of its commitment to achieving full-fibre connectivity in Britain, The Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) is running a £67m Gigabit Voucher Scheme to fund up to £2,500 of the capital costs of installing gigabit-capable connections into eligible SME businesses.
Businesses in Liverpool are eligible for additional funding from the Government towards these costs.
Through the scheme businesses can currently claim up to £2,500 against the cost of a gigabit capable connection either individually or as part of a group project.
The connection will be capable of delivering broadband connectivity at or above 1Gbps (upload or download) at the time of delivery to the premises (and not through the use of additional hardware or software).
